The classic round Hrímnir bit guards protect the sensitive corners of the mouth and prevent soreness of sensitive skin. They are made out of high-quality, stretchy silicone that is very soft and comfortable for the horse. Their total diameter is 7 cm and the Hrímnir logo give them a stylish look. They are sold as pairs.
We recommend cleaning your bit and bit guards after each ride to guarantee best performance.

Love the look of this guards, also the fact that they are not so big as the usual ones,still they are easy to attache. I am usingthe rings standard on the Icelandic bit. One of my trainingshorses is having a old scar in his mouth, to protect him extra and for the horses that are sensible i use the guards also on the normal bits.
